We finished our series on The Family in December, had a Christmas party and then parted ways for just over one month. At the time we agreed we would gather together after the first of the year just to reconnect and pray together for the new year. As people arrived we heard stories of how they spent Christmas and New Years; how the families are doing and just got caught up on each other's life events...
Josephine was faithful to translate as Denise explained she would be gone for two months...
We plan to teach on How God Sees a Leader when Denise returns; and we are confident that, even now, God is raising up one or more of the ladies to take on a leadership role with the group...

It has always been our vision to empower the ladies to take the teachings, make them their own and share with women in their spheres of influence...
Denise's prayer for the group is "Lord let me see where You are working; give me eyes to see so I can follow." She has also made a commitment to form a list of "1,000 things I am thankful for"
After our time of prayer we spent a few minutes greeting each other...and saying "see you later..."
Then one of the ladies decided I need to be in this blog entry...here I am!
It was a sweet time of fellowship and prayer...we will miss these ladies for the next two months!
