Last Friday my friend Twyla hosted 29 girls for a fun day around the pool...
First we loaded up all the paraphernalia needed...
Then moving tables...
...and benches...
...even this very heavy table top!
...so that clothing could be set out for the shopping spree!

We had a table for pants (trousers)...another for jackets and sweaters...

...and of course tops!

Twyla created signs for each display...she is just so thorough!
Twyla accused me of 'only' taking pictures and not working...so Kevin (the token boy in the group) took this shot of me doing what I do!
Now the 'workers' get to 'preview' shop before the crowd shows up...

Then the St. Catherine's girls arrived! Here Twyla is giving instructions...
...it took them no time to jump into the activity!

Then they discovered the loquats! I had to google to find out that they are sweet and tangy and very healthy...note to self: pick as many as I can while they are in season!

Then the girls all gathered around Twyla to hear about "Who I am in Christ"...they loved it!
Then our friend Irene shared a word of encouragement with the girls...
...and Les came to pray for our lunch!
The girls were hungry after all the activity of the morning...
...Twyla is an excellent hostess and planner...
The girls were quick to find a spot to sit and dig in...
...even me!
It was a good time to rest and visit...
...and then hit the pool!
Lavender was sharing with me about her plans for her future...in business!
Then we were reminded that I was to protect Stacy's food from being taken...oops! I forgot...

Tea time! I am guessing Twyla was EXHAUSTED by the end of the day!
We had 8 girls with August birthdays! So, of course we had to sing!
The girls enjoyed the tea and cake...yum!
Then of course, the group photo!
Then Twyla prayed a blessing over the kids before releasing them to head home...
It was a great time...thanks Twyla for all you did to make this a wonderful time together!
