I was privileged to participate in this workshop put on by my dear friends Les and Twyla Brickman. It took place from 6pm on Friday until about 5:30 on Saturday. We covered an amazing amount of material and accomplished much in a very short time!
We all agreed that the Savelberg Retreat Center was a great venue; nice and clean rooms, great class room, excellent food and friendly service.

A quick trip home (luckily the retreat center is just a few minutes from Les and Twyla's home!) and back and we were good to go. Meanwhile Twyla and I greeted and registered students as they arrived.
By dinnertime we had received five, plus Twyla and me makes seven! |

| We covered much in this 2 hour session on Friday night; misconceptions about how we are called, definition of a calling "an external commission from God for others", and the importance of discovering our calling. I am grateful that Les is excellent at keeping time...I was SO ready for bed by 10pm! Sorry - forgot to take photo of my room :( but it was clean and comfortable. |

| By the next morning all the students had arrived - for a total of 12 for this first of, I hope, many such workshops! |

| We each paired with a 'peer' to help us discover what God wanted to reveal to us. I was blessed to be paired with Twyla. We helped each other past several 'blocks' during the course of the workshop! |

| Les is working with Sylvia to 'model' the coaching concept...I was FASCINATED by what he was able to draw out of her and moved deeply by the different stories I was privileged to hear during the course of the workshop. |

I believe lives were changed in these few hours we spent together. It was amazing to see 'light bulbs' going off as different ones made astounding discoveries; about God, about themselves, about God's calling and especially about God's plan for each of our lives.
As much as we accomplished, the work as really just begun...We all agreed we only scratched the surface, taking the first step on what I trust will be an exciting journey!
