We began a study on Leadership on the 3rd of April...the first lesson was entitled How God Sees a Leader...
"Everything rises and falls on leadership" John Maxwell - that is so true! Which is why this study is so important to the ladies in our group, who are all leaders in their churches and in their communities.
We were few to start the morning, but the eagerness is evident!
We asked them first to tick on a form qualities they believe make a good leader...

...we wanted to get an idea of how they view leadership...
..then they were to list 3 'good' leaders and the qualities they possess...
...and 3 bad leaders and what qualities make them 'bad'...
It was quite interesting to hear which qualities they admire and think are important!
Several ticked "over 30" as a requirement and "admired by people"...

We learned that one of the greatest needs in the church today is for gifted, competent and fully surrendered leaders.
God is looking for leaders who are willing, yielded to Him, growing in their walk with Him, and ready to make an eternal impact on those around them...

Fruit of the Spirit is also critical. It is the Holy Spirit who makes a person "spiritual".

We always try to leave plenty of time for prayer requests and praises at the end of each meeting.

She has a ministry to young girls who are in danger of going astray...it is a struggle but she is persevering!
Consolata (one of our newest members) blessed us so much by leading us in praising the Lord!
We announced at this first meeting that we want to train two or three apprentices to take over leadership of the group...
We love this time of celebrating each other as we say our goodbyes!
Sarah just had a new grand daughter and is showing off her photo...
It was so good to be back together again!!
