"Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."

Sunday at church...

First the Early Birds!  We meet at 8 and class starts at 8:30...Tina organized this group shot - what a great idea!
Then I spoke...when I opened my Bible to pull out my talk - it was the 'wrong' one!  I had really prayed that God would show me what to say and Sherry from the party on Saturday assured me that if I opened my mouth the Holy Spirit would give me the words...I believe that is what happened!
I gave an overview of my journey to Kenya (starting with the Swaziland trip in 2005), with an emphasis on a key relationship that was formed when I first moved there in 2008...
...ending with the work I am currently doing - then I read from Eph 4 and shared that when God calls us He does not ask our permission or even how we feel about it...He is looking for obedient hearts, hearts full of love for Him...opening line for the talk I had planned to do was "God doesn't care how we feel"
I took this shot in church because Tim was amazing!  He sang two songs, and it was apparent that he is a worship leader...I sensed the presence of the Holy Spirit and was so blessed by his ministry...
Bobby conducted a brief interview with Tim before his sermon...
After church I visited the Christian Life Class...I could not leave the US without seeing these special friends!
Kay (in the black) and her husband Greg are the ones I am closest to
We enjoyed a sweet duet of Jesus Loves Me with Donna on the keyboard and Jim on a xylophone - it was such fun!!
I think he's done!
This lovely couple, Yvonne and Eric Rasmussen, graciously shared their song book with me!
Paul is the pastor/teacher...he is a bit dry but does an excellent job and I am always edified
It was so good to see that the class is growing - I counted 20 people...at one time they feared the class would not continue, but they courageously agreed that even if they were only 3 they would still meet because where 2 or more are gathered in His name He is among them...I love that about this class!
