"Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."

Last week in Kibera...

We completed our study on Women of Destiny...so today was about wrapping up the study.  To begin Denise read from Ps 25:4-50...about the faithfulness of God. Perfect way to start today's session as we look back on all God has done and look forward to all He will do!
Rose, Rachel, Linet, Emily
Catherine & Susan

Patricia is deep in thought
Denise sharing a "life map" she created showing the milestones in her life...
...she wants to make one for each of the ladies...
...so we had them complete a form with all the main events in their lives...
...then we will "map" them out!

Some of the ladies were not in the study the week before so were able to complete their forms today

Denise is helping some of the ladies who have questions...
Also today we handed out lessons that were missed - sometimes the ladies are not able to join us...
...but we want to make sure they have a complete notebook of the entire series...
Josephine helping Catherine complete her Life Map Information sheet...
Denise giving out forms from previous lessons...
Going through all the papers was tedious, but worth it!

We also announced a Leader's Conference to be held on the 3rd of July...to which we are inviting the husbands and other church leaders from these ladies' churches...
Rose explaining that going until 5 is too late!
We spent some time brainstorming how the day should go, when to serve tea and what to serve with the tea...

Here is Catherine reading the flier we created to announce the event...

Always we end with hearing praise reports, taking prayer requests and praying for one another...
This week Serah prayed for us...she is to the left in blue...

And afterwards always lovely smiles and greetings :)
...a great time to connect before we leave each other...

Stella shyly asked that I snap this picture of her...lovely doncha think?
Josephine checking on Rachel...they have become close :)

Since we changed the time verbally, we decided to change the time on the flyers too!
Smile!  I am shooting your picture :)
It was short but sweet.  We always love spending time with these precious ladies...and after the conference we will begin a new series on the Family...
